The International School of Kuala Lumpur is an independent not-for-profit school in Ampang Hilir, founded in 1965. It teaches a North American programme alongside the IB Diploma and Advanced Placement, serving students aged 3 to 18 across a 26-acre campus. Enrolment is around 1,800 with more than 60 nationalities. Entry is available at Prep Reception, Grade 1, Grade 6 and Grade 9, with rolling admission subject to space. The school is accredited by CIS, WASC and the IB. English as an Additional Language and learning support are both provided, and school transport is available. Annual tuition for 2026/2027 is published in full by year group. A Pathways scholarship is offered to Malaysian students entering Grade 9.
