The Japanese School of Kuala Lumpur is a Japanese national curriculum school in Saujana, Shah Alam, founded in 1966 and run by the Japan Club of Kuala Lumpur. It is accredited by the Japan Ministry of Education and serves around 544 Japanese national students from kindergarten through elementary and middle school, aged 3 to 15. Teaching follows the Japanese school year from April to March. School transport is provided. Tuition is charged monthly and is markedly lower than the international schools in this directory: the figures shown are annualised from the published 2026 monthly rates, alongside one-time entrance and facility fees.
